Pomegranate seeds go great as topping on desserts!

Because YES, you can still enjoy desserts even if you’ve decided to quit sugar. You just choose better ingredients to make the desserts with, and there’s a lot of options! 🙂

One quick and easy dessert I made last weekend, completely without recipe, was an amazing chocolate pudding topped with pomegranate seeds. Here’s how I made it:

I had some left over whipped cream in the fridge from making hot cocoa this weekend, so I put a can of coconut milk in the fridge and then scooped out the hardened coconut cream on top, and mixed it with the left over whipped cream. I then added cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and some liquid stevia to taste. I added a bit of each, tried it, then added some more, until I was happy with the flavor. The pomegranate seeds on top was the perfect addition!

I also sometimes add pomegranate seeds to other desserts as well, like this sugar free & dairy free panna cotta that I made recently for New Year’s Eve. Click here for the panna cotta recipe.
