What to Do with Green Peas – Real Food Basics

Green Peas are often easily liked by people of all ages. Steamed peas are seen on the dinner table at lots of families with small children as the parents know that it’s something that their children will have an easy time enjoying. Maybe it’s the slightly sweet, not too strong flavor, or maybe it’s the fact that green peas are really fun for a toddler to eat with their hands or try to pick up with their fork…either way, peas are great to always have in your freezer so you know you have an easy vegetable on hand for days you haven’t planned dinner in advance.

I don’t know if it’s just me and my nieces and nephews, but we all LOVE frozen peas!! Frozen peas are such a fun treat to get either while waiting for dinner to get done or even for after dinner like a dessert. Frozen peas both give you all the nutrients from peas, while also being refreshing and reminding you of ice cream. It’s great snack on warm days as well!
