Ice Chocolate

“Ice chocolate” is a traditional Swedish Christmas candy with 2 simple ingredients! The base is melted chocolate and coconut oil that you mix together and then let cool in small forms (a ice cube tray works too!). You can use cold pressed coconut oil or deodorized coconut oil, depending on if you want the coconut flavor or not. This candy is a fun and yummy way of getting more coconut oil into your diet, and if you use sugar free dark chocolate it becomes a healthy treat that’s super simple to make!

What you need:

200 grams (7 oz) sugar free dark chocolate
100 grams (3.5 oz) coconut oil
Flavorings (optional): Add a few drops of peppermint oil, some licorice powder, cayenne pepper, cinnamon, or chopped nuts into the chocolate mixture before pouring it into the molds.

What to do:

Melt the chocolate and coconut oil in a water bath. Add flavorings (optional). Fill the molds and let cool. If you live where it’s warmer, it’s good to store these in the fridge since they melt quicker than normal chocolate.
