What to Do with Radishes – Real Food Basics

Radishes are both a bit sweet and have a unique spiciness to them that not a lot of vegetables have, but a lot of people who do like radishes don’t buy them regularly because they don’t know how to really eat them or use them in cooking.

Radishes are a part of the Brassicaceae family, same family as cabbage, Brussels sprouts, kale, broccoli, and cauliflower. All the vegetables in this family are vitally important and healthy for the body, both when it comes to digestive health, their anti-oxidant effect, cancer prevention, and more. Radishes are also good for purifying the blood, eliminating toxins from the body, and are even high in Vitamin C and good fiber.
